Tools and Machinery #
Inside the 3D Scanning room we have a variety of different machinery and tools for visitors to make use of. The types of machinery present are listed below;
Scanning #
- Xbox 360 Kinect | The Kinect, paired up with the Skanect software, can make scans of people, objects and more.
- Shining3D Einscan HX | This hybrid Blue Laser & LED Light scanner is used for extremely high-detailed scanning of bigger objects.
- Shining3D Einscan SE | For high-detailed scanning of smaller objects, featuring a turntable scanning platform volume of 200×200×200mm (H × W × L), or a scanning range of 700×700×700mm (H × W × L) if the Turntable is not used.
Keep in mind that your objects should consist of a size that is bigger than 30×30×30mm (H × W × L) if you would like to use the Einscan SE.
